T.O.U.C.H.’s fourth annual golf tournament fundraiser took place on October 5, 2014 at the Raccoon International Golf Course in Granville, OH.

Our annual golf tournament honors Master Sergeant Shawn Hannon of the Ohio Air National Guard, who died in Afghanistan, along with two other unit members, on April 4, 2012, while serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Army Sergeant 1st Class Shawn T. Hannon, 44, of Grove City, Ohio, served on the MCS-T.O.U.C.H. board of directors and, prior to deploying, served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Ohio Department of Veterans Affairs. Sgt. 1st Class Hannon was a founding board member of the inaugural MCS-T.O.U.C.H. Golf Tournament, and MCS-T.O.U.C.H. has been honored to continue hosting the event in his memory.

The golf tournament is structured in a four-person team scramble format. The event includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, lunch and dinner, a tournament goody bag, a longest putt contest, and trophies for the first-place foursome.
